Marvin Eugene Brown Jr. was born to Marvin E. and Marcella L. Brown

on May 12, 1965. He was very active as a child. Around the age of 10, Marvin was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Although it caused him to have limitations /restrictions this diagnose never stopped him from doing things that other children would. Marvin graduated from Hughes high school. later Marvin attended college for optometry and landed what could have been a career jobat Beechmont Optical. instead of moving forward Marvin later decided he was more interested in doing something more of what he always enjoyed.... such as traveling and reading maps. Marvin applied for a truck drivers position and traveled to Tennessee to take his cdl test, but unfortunately, he was denied due to his diabetes. That was terrible news to receive however, that did not stop Marvin he was a very intellectual individual yet quite man whom everyone adored. During the early part of Marvin’s life, he spent the last 21 years of his working career at UC food and beverage department where he sustained the role as union representative for his division, until he was no longer able to work due to his failing kidney. Marvin was also an 2 time survivor of a dual transplant. All thru that time Marvin has impressed the doctors, and staff on his knowledge and dedication keeping up with all his medication and diet that was regarding his health. Even after his passing his doctors said they were surprised and impressed for Marvin to make it as far as he did! but we know that our timing is not gods timing. After his 2nd kidney transplant Marvin Eugene Brown Jr. accepted the lord Jesus Christ as his lord and savior. Matthew 24:44 “therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the son of man cometh”. 2 years later, he went home to be with the lord in the month of march in 2023, Marvin Eugene Brown jr. passed away at the age of 57. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin E. Brown; his mother, Marcella L. Brown; his sisters, Maxine Brown. Sallie B Martin (grandmother) Adel M. Brown (aunt). He leaves to cherish his memory: his sisters, Lenora Beal, Jeanette and Annette Brown, and his brother, Malcolm brown (Verna), David S. Brown (uncle) and a host nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives, friends and loved ones who were touched by his life.
